TDINTigami is inspired by Scorigami
. TDINTigami
displays every unique touchdown to interception ratio by a quarterback in a given season
since 1932.
Data from over 2,000 webpages on profootballreference.com was scraped using the Beautiful Soup Python package.
Various statistics for quarterbacks in a given season are included, such as their touchdown/interception totals, number of starts, team affiliations, and the respective playing year.
Every player listed in TDINTigami has started at least one game during the specified season, and holds the official position of quarterback. In total, there are 3,667 quarterbacks included in TDINTigami.
Unfortunately QB data is incomplete pre-1932.
Thankfully the quarterback position was essentially non-existent back then (there were only 6 unique players at the qb position from 1932-1940!) so the overwhelming majority of quarterbacks are included.
